Breakfast Ideas – Chia Pudding and Açai Combo


 

Hello! This is my first post about food! I love finding healthy recipes to make and share with others! There are a lot of various combinations you can make with chia seeds and acai, but this is one of my favorite ways to eat them together.

This idea is perfect for breakfast, as a snack, after a workout, and even as desert. In this case, I made these two cups for my sister and I for breakfast. Although hers has a layer of Greek yogurt inbetween the chia seeds and acai.

What you will need ( 2 serving ): 

For the chia seed pudding:

– 1/3 cup of chia seeds

– 1 1/2 cup of almond milk

-agave nectar to taste

For the layer in-between chia and acai (opt.):

– Greek yogurt (I used strawberry)

For the acai layer:

– 1 smoothie pack of acai (I used Sambazon original superfruit packs)

– 1/2 of a frozen banana

-1/2 cup ice

-agave nectar to taste

-1/4 cup frozen strawberries (opt.)

For the topping:

– granola

-sliced strawberries

-sliced bananas

Soak your chia seeds in the almond milk and  agave nectar. I usually soak mine overnight and eat it the next morning, but 30 minutes should be fine. Then layer the chia, Greek yogurt, and acai. It’s best to eat it right away. It’s so refreshing and my favorite way to start off the morning!
